Curtis Family of Wilkes County, NC, TN, and Indiana

It is believed that Joshua Curtis was of English descent and served first as an Ensign and later as Lieutenant during the Revoluntionary War. He was born about 1732 and died in Davidson County, TN in 1818. His wife was Mary Clark. Many of his descendants live in Wilkes County, North Carolina, Tennessee and Indiana.
