Parnell Family
First Generation
William Parnell was born about 1810 and married Dorothea Nissen (1804-1843) on July 31, 1830. The Moravian diary entry states that he was not a member of the church. William married Mary Adkins in 1845.
Christina Parnell married Hasten Lewis. In 1850, William and Dorothea's daughter Christina, age 16, is living with Hasten and Christina Lewis. We suspect that Christina Lewis is William's sister.
Jacob Parnell (1810-1897) who married Nancy Ham (1819-1889) appears to be in the same generation. Was he William's brother?
