Land Entry #237 - made on 4 Jul 1778 by Reuben Standley for 200 acres on Hunting Creek at the foot of Lazy Hill including improvements whereon sd. Standley now lives.

Land Entry #1338 - made on 4 Dec 1779 by Reuben Standley for 50 acres on Hunting Creeek at the foot of Lazy Hill on both sides of creek.

Land Entry #918 - made on 4 Mar 1778 by Stephen Harris for 50 acres of land  on South Fork of Hunting Creek at John Standleys line down both sides of creek.

Land Entry #1737 -  made on 30 Mar 1780 by Job Cole for 50 acres on Miery Branch of Hunting Creek between road that goes from Thomas Tomsons and John Standleys. There were not any land grants for Thomas Tomson/Touson or Wilkes County land deeeds in Wilkes County, NC.

Land Entry #1645 - made on 25 Feb 1780 by Reuben Standley for 100 acres on south side of Hunting Creek at James Loves line(was Reuben Standleys) so as to ascertain various land between John Standley line and Thomas Tomson line.

*Land Entry #1632 - made on 18 Feb 1780 by John Standley for 100 acres on Mill Creek at sd Standleys line other line up the creek on both sides.

Land Entry #279 - made on 8 Aug 1778 by John Standley for 200 acres  on Mill Creek of Hunting Creek including his improvements.(NC Land Grant #702) *Land Entry #1632 - made on 18 Feb 1780 by John Standley for 100 acres on Mill Creek beginning at sd. Standleys other line.(NC Land Grant 730a)

Harris Standley plantation - Before 1779 Harris Standley did NOT  make a Wilkes County land entry on this land, but obviously lived here at one time.

*Duplicate land entries. John Standley probably  wanted 200 acres, but transferred 100 acres of this land to George Combs.
